Our Programmes for Early Learners (age 4 to 7 years)

We understand that every child learns differently. Therefore, our books and activities aim to draw out the abilities, capabilities and interest for every individual child.

We focus on:

1. Reading and Story-telling Sessions

Our story-telling sessions are enjoyable as we encompass shared reading, story discussion, and story re-creation to arouse their imagination and creativity.

2. Listening and Oral Practice

We teach children how to listen attentively to strengthen their understanding of a given passage. We also teach them how to speak confidently with proper diction.

3. Workshops on Basic Grammar and Vocabulary

Our workshops include meaningful and fun activities to improve the children’s language use and prepare them ahead of primary school admission.

4. Writing Workshop

We teach children the basic skills in writing good composition. Once they master the skills of writing, we encourage them to learn the art of creative writing.

5. Social/Emotional & Character Building Programmes

We use stories of good morals and virtues to nurture a culture of kindness, appreciation and respect. We also help children develop some important life skills through team-building games to strengthen their interpersonal skills.

6. Programme for Children with Learning Difficulties

We believe that every child is different and individualized learning is necessary to understand their learning styles so as to maximize their learning potential and capabilities. As such, we adapt our teaching methods to meet students’ varying needs and interests.

For children with learning difficulties, our teachers will work closely with parents to develop suitable learning programmes that cater to their learning pace to help them learn better. The programmes are subsidized by Mdm Theo Learning Space.

Programmes for Parents

1. Talks for Parents

Mrs Tang conducts talks on the last two Fridays of the month to share with parents how to cope with the emotions of their young children. She helps parents understand the negative feelings of their children and how to address them.

2. Bonding Workshops and Activities

We conduct crafting workshops on the first two Sundays of the month to let parents bond with their children. Our activities are fun and engaging and they come with instructions for parents to guide their children to complete a learning task.
